Ask Not What…

...Your Principal Can Do For You But What You Can Do For Your Principal. That's the school motto, isn't it? One of them, anyway? I know that you, dearest ones, spend many of your waking hours trying to make my life better. And I feel for you! I am engaged in a rather similar practice and so I know firsthand how exhausting this activity can be. But now I have a task for you that doesn't require a) leaving your home, b) spending money or c) singing any Grease lyrics. I know what you're thinking: Could such an activity truly exist? Could life really be this wonderful? And the answer is yes and yes. This idea, I must admit, came from Joe and Mike Chi -- the usual suspects. I'm actually not sure who did it first and because my picking favorites between those two could get quite ugly, I'm choosing to say it doesn't matter because it was a great idea. They both tweeted @aots (if you don't speak Twitter by now, what are you doing here? And please enroll ASAP in Twitter 101, which is a requirement for all Freshmen) that they should have more of my segment/me on the show. Now I'm not sure if this kind of thing actually makes a difference but let's assume it does. And, well, I do love doing AOTS and would love to be on it more so consider this your permission ("order" seems a little, uh, intense for a Saturday) to let the AOTS people know you feel similarly (if, in fact, you do feel similarly). You can do this on Twitter, as part of the show's Virtual Audience or even by letting The Man in Charge know. And I'm not saying that you have to start petitions or do anything too drastic in order to help the cause but it should be noted that this would earn you the kind of extra credit that's up there with Principal Saving.

Even though we are in serious suck up mode, I have to give credit where it’s due. Joe was the first and I jumped on the bandwagon. I know a good idea when I see one. And it was a fine idea, well done Joe!

I sent my messages via Twitter, Virtual Audience and sent a note to the man in charge. No news on the petition yet, but don’t be surprised if something shows up. Would love to see you on AOTS more, I think we should arrange for picketing, airplane banners, maybe a blimp flying over LA and possibly a hunger strike or something else equally drastic.

Is it really possible that ADA students don’t use Twitter? I find that difficult to believe, I thought it was one of those required things you have to do when you get to the Academy, just like it’s required to do everything possible to make the principals life easier.

Done and done. If that’s all our esteemed Principle asks of us, how can we not?

Besides, I love seeing Principle Anna and the lovely and talented Olivia Munn in a 2 shot. If you like womens, how could you not love that?

“Oh, honey. Men don’t pay women for sex, they pay women to leave.”

“Honey, men will pay for just about anything.”

It’ll never get ugly here, Miss Anna. We’re all friends and we’re not in competition. We may tease each other sometimes, but it’s all for fun. And we all take turns having good ideas.

AOTS posted this message on Twitter: “Attention AOTS Viewers – What do you want to see in the next 1000 episodes of Attack of the Show? Reply to @AOTS and let us know!”

AOTS should use you more – and not just for IYP but for hosting events like the Computer Electronics Show. Why don’t they have you covering stuff and interviewing people on the east coast? Not everything happens in California. Silicon Alley is located right in Manhattan.

Wikipedia says, “Since 2003 Silicon Alley has seen a steady growth in the number of start-ups and has joined the ranks of Boston and San Francisco as one of the three leading technology centers in the United States. As of 2009, New York’s Silicon Alley has become the startup leader in advertising, new media, financial technologies such as Eyeblaster, DoubleClick, Roo, IAC, meetup.com and a slew of web 2.0 companies.”

Why doesn’t G4 have you covering some of that? You should be G4′s east coast correspondent. That’s what I’m going to tell Neal Tiles!

I will get over to Twitter and send a few messages there
The Anna David Segments on AOTS are just amazing
In the most recent video segment Principal David mentioned the following items in less than one minute

1-Sex in a public place is a serious crime
2-People need annual checkups to check for STDs
3-I now know what GFE stands for

    This is a great idea

Oh dear, one last thing we must plan for a very special Principal David Birthday Celebration on June 4, 2010. At least we have 10 months to figure something out

Why stick to AOTS when in your pants could be it’s own weekly show. Maybe do it as a daily show with a format like Pardon the Interruption on ESPN if you have the right co-host.

So, I have been a bad bad student at your academy, Anna. I know that I need to be punished for my bad attendance, I am hoping that you will go easy on me.

Maybe a whipping or something? What do you think?

FYI — the ADA Alumni Weekend was a great success! Over 75 former students showed up – not bad since we’ve only had 1 graduating class so far.

The ADA Cougars beat the DeVry Cockroaches by 127 to 3. Total victory!!

    Hey! (clap, clap, clap)
    Let’s go… ADA!

Still leery of the whole Twitter thing so I submitted directly to the man in charge. Should I do so daily?
